Credit card transactions are declined by your bank or credit card provider and only they can tell you why your card has been declined. Common reasons include exceeding the daily transaction limit or the card's total credit limit. Credit card providers may also decline a charge if it is for an unusual amount or to a company you normally don't do business with. Your credit card provider will be able to provide you a detailed explanation why your card was declined and instruct you how to proceed.
