Take Advantage of The Canada-Alberta Job Grant

Until 2020 funds are still available for the Canada-Alberta Job Grant.

The Canada-Alberta Job Grant is an employer-driven training program sponsored by the Canadian federal government. This means that employers decide on who gets training and what type of training may be needed for new and existing employees. Employers are required to use a third-party training provider such as RPS-PEICE Training to deliver the formal training either onsite, online, or in a classroom setting.

The Canada Job Grant is part of the Government of Canada and Government of Alberta’s commitment to help address skills mismatches and ensure that employees are being trained in high-demand areas.

All RPS-PEICE courses qualify for the CAJG, which means employers will effectively pay only 1/3 the associated fees. The grant applies to RPS-PEICE in-house courses as well, and we will work with clients to develop meaningful programs that fit the constraints of the grant.

The CAJG is limited to training taking place in Alberta and to Alberta residents, so long as the individual(s) being trained partake in at least 25 hours of training.
