Course Description
The Upstream Petroleum Industry is a complex mixture of technical and non-technical disciplines. A consequence is that many people employed with oil companies, and related businesses which service the oil industry, do not understand the basic fundamentals and terminology.

This popular two-day course is designed to familiarize non-technical personnel in the petroleum and related government, financial, legal, and service industries with the basics of the upstream (E and P) petroleum industry via slide presentations and video clips.. The course will provide an overview of the key aspects of the upstream petroleum industry, including exploration, risk factors, drilling, production, unconventional resources, reserve estimations and the history of the oil price.

This course is also offered as a Live Virtual Training Course on September 11-12. Live Virtual Classroom training lets you reap the benefits of real-time instructor led training wherever you have an internet connection. Excellent course on upstream basics. This course provides a good understanding of the oil and gas industry using a variety of visuals, videos, and charts. Other courses that I have taken in the past have not been as engaging or versitile in accommodating to various learning types. The course material was not facilitated in a dry, monotone manner. Would highly recommed this course.
