This two-day course will familiarize participants with the basic terminology, processes and equipment used in LNG Production. This course is ideally suited to process and mechanical engineers, discipline engineers, other personnel involved in engineering and construction, operating company personnel who have had limited exposure in this area, and for professionals involved in other areas of the petroleum industry who require a comprehensive overview of the LNG processing.

Jorge Foglietta has more than thirty six years of experience in process technology and project engineering for the hydrocarbon processing industries. His specific fields of experience include gas processing, petroleum refining and LNG. He has held engineering positions and executive responsibilities that included strategic technology planning, technology development, process design, evaluation of facilities, design and selection of process equipment, safety analysis, construction, plant start-ups and operations troubleshooting. Jorge earned an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1976. He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the Advisory Committee of the Laurance Reid Gas Conditioning Conference, and Co-Chair of the Facilities Design Forum of the Gas Processors Association (GPA).

Jorge has vast experience in the world of LNG and it really shows when he has class discussions on topics. The course is focused strongly on Large LNG facilities but the topics translate to the smaller and medium size facilities as well. Very good overview for somebody who is just getting started in the world of LNG
