The course will appeal to people newly involved in the field, professionals in related disciplines and operations personnel and managers.

Instructor

Leonard Smart has thirty-five years of professional experience in the telecommunications and computer-communications fields, much of which has been specialized in SCADA and industrial computing applications. He has designed SCADA systems, built equipment packages, managed the procurement of major systems, and supported clients in the operation of these technologies in numerous consulting assignments. He has delivered over 500 technical training courses on subjects relating to SCADA, Internet Architecture (TCP/IP), Data Networking, Mobile Computing, and Network Security in some 20 countries worldwide. Len is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of British Columbia, Canada.

This course is advertise to be specific to the O&G industry. I think it would be better if we could have more example related to the SCADA system development in that specifica industry. On one hand it is good to be general but it is also good to have some example of application to O&G
